Pumpkin Cookies

5 Cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp salt
3 Cups sugar
1 Cup butter
1 Can pumpkin puree (15 oz)
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
Glaze

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease baking sheets.
2) Beat sugar and butter until well blended. Beat in pumpkin, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto greased baking sheets.
3) Bake for 15 - 18 minutes, when edges are firm. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes then remove to cooling racks to cool completely.

Glaze:
2 Cups powdered sugar
3 Tbsp milk
1 Tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla

Mix in small bowl until smooth. Drizzle on top of cookies, or dip cooled cookies in glaze and allow to harden.
